Ronald E. Ward

Chief Executive Officer and co-inventor of the LTV, Mr. Ward was born in Paintsville, Kentucky. Educated in mechanical engineering at the University of Cincinnati and in business and industrial education at Eastern Kentucky University, Mr. Ward began his engineering career with G. J. Meyer Bottling Mfg. Co.. Later, he worked at Cummins Engine Co., Avey Machine Tool Co. and Teledyne Precision Cincinnati, prior to teaching for ten years at Mayo State College, in his hometown of Paintsville. He founded R. E. Ward Engineering Inc. and American Automation and Manufacturing Inc. in 1971 and 1982 respectively. Under his leadership these companies developed a world-wide client base, including GM, American Standard Co., Siemens, Toyota, Ford, Boeing and many others.
