The
founders and management team of Celerity Automation started
working together at R. E. Ward Engineering, Inc. For more than
thirty years Ward Engineering was a leading innovator and producer
of large-scale plant production equipment and manufacturing
system for clients such as General Motors, Ford, Boeing, General
Electric, Toyota, Daimler Benz, and Siemens. From Paintsville,
Kentucky, a small town in the Eastern Highlands, Ward established
a distinguished, international reputation for developing high
tech equipment and innovative solutions for manufacturing challenges,
across many different industries.
Celerity Automation, Inc. is a company with deep roots in Ward
Engineering’s inventive problem solving. At its core is
a revolutionary new technology, the “direct drive”
linear transfer vehicle and the team of engineers who originally
designed it. After securing the intellectual properties associated
with the technology from Ward Engineering, Celerity was formed
with the plan to redesign and repackage this technology for
high volume manufacture and introduction into multiple industry
markets. |
